STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP Member of Parliament from Jammu Poonch Parliamentary Constituency along with former Minister Sat Sharma attended Yoga display programme held under Sewa Saptah campaign organised by BJP Jammu West team at Government Higher Secondary School Sarwal here. On the occasion, students of the school performed Yoga Aasans thereby giving a message for adopting Yoga in daily life. They also imparted a message to put stop to Single-use plastic products besides saving water, which is the need of the hour. Jugal, while speaking on the occasion, said that students are the blooming buds and future leaders of the nation. He also listened to various demands highlighted by students and staff and announced a sum of Rs 5 lakh for development of school from the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Fund (MPLADF) scheme. Sat Sharma said that Sewa Saptah campaign, initiated by BJP has now been adopted by all. Eminent members of civic societies as well as common people are participating in the aforesaid programme with great zeal and vigour across the nation, he added. Principal GHSS Sarwal Savita Sharma along with teaching and non-teaching staff, District President West Ayodhya Gupta, Municipal Councillor Arun Khanna, senior BJP leaders Kuldeep Mangotra, Veenu Khanna, Sanjeev Sharma, Parduman Singh, Usha Choudhary, Balwan Singh, Vinod Wazir, Ravi Kant and Inderjeet were also present on the occasion.
