STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: Residents of Border village Malani on Saturday protested against non inclusion of Malani village in IB reservation list. The protesters warned that if their villages are not added to the list, they will be forced to protest on roads. In protest large number of youth, several Panch were present and demanded rights of border villagers. They told that villages within 6km of international border are eligible for the reservation but in a sheer case of ignorance many eligible villages are neglected and not added to the list. They further added that Malani and Karwal village are only 4.5 km away from IB and still not added in the list. They demanded action from local member of parliament and local administration to look into the matter. In protest Panch Madan Lal, Pritam Chand, Bodh Raj, Shammi, Lalit, Parveen, Divakar Sharma, Mannu were present.
