STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: President, Mata Sarthal Devi Shrine and former MLC, Vikramaditya Singh expressed grief over unfortunate accident in Kishtwar, near Mata Sarthal Devi, wherein four people have lost their lives and five others received severe injuries. In a statement issued here today, Vikramaditya said Doda and Kishtwar Districts have become accident-prone aresa. He said the RTO must ensure that only road worthy vehicles and qualified drivers should be permitted to drive commercial vehicles. There should be strict vigil against overloading of vehicles which is major cause of such accidents, he added. Vikramaditya also expressed grief and sorrow over tragic road accident at Marmat road, Doda in which 16 people lost their lives. He prayed to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the family members for bearing this irreparable loss. He also prayed for speedy recovery of the injured persons.
