Various Congress leaders join Apni Party

RAMBAN: Apni Party candidate Mohammed Farooq has filled his nomination papers from Ramban-A District Development Council (DDC) elections after resigning from the Congress Party alongwith the supporters.
In a statement to the press, the Apni Party gave mandate to Mohammed Farooq from Ramban-A in view of popular demand of the people among whom he has worked for the district from last many years selflessly. Farooq was block president of Congress Party from Ramban district and he alongwith his supporters left the party due to the failure of Congress Party in redressing the issues of the public and joined Apni Party.
After filing his nomination papers, Farooq thanked Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari and Vice President of the Party Aijaz Ahmed Khan for their faith in his candidature.
He said that the DDC constituency Ramban-A is lacking behind regarding development and other aspects and the condition of roads is in worse condition.
The people, he said, in this constituency are still struggling to get basic requirements like road connectivity, proper public transport, clean drinking water, and electricity supplies.
He also said that the health sector has also collapsed in the district and it required special attention from the Govt.
“I will ensure the health, education and day to day needs of the people can be fulfilled,” he said and assured the people of Ramban-A that he will make sure that their livelihood can be upgraded and they are provided all the facilities of the Govt.
He was speaking during election campaign in which Congress Party leaders including Iqbal Ahmed Tantray, Manzoor Ahmed, Waseem Ahmed, Sajjad Ahmed, Mohammed Rafiq, Parveez Ahmed, Abdul Rashid, Mohammed Khalid, Mohammed Irshad, Sheikh Shabir Ahmed, Haji Bashir, Choudhary Essa, and Mohammed Iqbal, joined Apni Party. They pledged to strengthen the party and work for the betterment of people.
