STATE TIMES NEWSBILLAWAR: Former Minister and President DCC Kathua, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma while addressing public at Block Ramkote lambasted BJP for exploiting the people of J&K and especially playing with sentiments of jammuites.He said for what BJP is celebrating when people of Jammu has passing through worst nightmare in last 1 year. Manohar said unemployment is all time high in the country and the region. He said after conversion of J&K from state to UT people & youth were specially allured by BJP on pretext that there will be ample job opportunities for them as many industries will come but on the contrary even the industries which are already running are on the verge of shutdown due to collapsing economy.He further instead of giving new jobs BJP even took the jobs from hands of youth of J&K by bringing Domicile law which further snatched land & job rights from people of J&K. Coming heavily on BJP & its leadership Dr Sharma said BJP has imposed “Jazia” from Vaishno Devi pilgrims on the way to Katra by setting up toll plazas at Lakhanpur and Ban. Further he said BJP has always exploited people on the name of religion and said BJP is only vocal in religion but when it comes practical they always play betray with the people and present news of tax on priests of Haridawar and stopping Amaranth Yatra consecutively for the second year in a row is live example of exploitation.Dr Sharma said that people of J&K has been deprived of their fundamental right of access to internet by GOI since past 1 year. He said one side GOI of talks about digital India but said have they have forgotten that for digital India high speed without internet is the necessity. Dr Sharma further said during past one year BJP has tried to suppress every voice raised against its atrocities. He said any one who raised voice against anti-people policies of BJP was arrested and put under house arrest and tried to suppress voice by using police force and recent was use of police force on peaceful protest by Congress workers against Lakhanpur toll plaza.Those who were present on the occasion Budhi Singh, Girdhari Padha, Shiv Kumar, Rattan Chand, Tirath Ram, Parkash Singh, Rattan Chand, Kewal Krishan, Jagdev Singh, Uttam Singh, Ramesh Sharma, Surinder Singh, Liaqat Ali, Ajay Kumar, Govind, Shashi Sharma, Tilak Raj, Harbans, Gurdev Singh, Pawan Verma and Mohan Singh.
