STATE TIMES NEWSUDHAMPUR: Senior Congress leader Sumeet Magotra has criticize the District Health Department for its failure to provided health services to the COVID-19 patients in District Hospital Udhampur. He alleged that ventilators have not been commissioned in the District Hospital Udhampur wich became unsafe and viable to death instead of life line.Magotra expressing the owes as few days back a Ramnagar based teacher was brought to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment in emergency but the attendants of the patient were asked by Hospital that there is no ventilator facility available as of now and referred him to GMC Jammu for necessary treatment. Unfortunately patient was succumbed on the way. He further disclosed that it is come to know, a month ago District Hospital Udhampur was equipped with 35 Ventilators and why four days back this patient was not provided ventilator facility. He also disclosed that ventilators are still non-functional due to the defunct administration of District Hospital. He further expressed that at present so many Corona positive cases are under home quarantine but District Administration has not constituted any mobile team comprising of a doctor and Para medical staff to provide medicare to them.He also disclosed that CT scan machine of District Hospital Udhampur is out of order from more than four months and patients are straightway being referred to GMC Jammu. He said that in this connection he has submitted a memorandum to the LG and appealed to make a visit of District Hospital Udhampur to access the situation of the Hospital.
