State Times News R S PURA: Police on Sunday arrested two pharmacists for selling banned capsules and seized their shops. As per details, a Special Naka Party from R S Pura Police Station nabbed a person Rakesh Kumar, son of Raj Mal, resident of Sidhar, R S Pura. During his search, 270 Tramadol capsules were recovered from his possession. Police also recovered 598 Tramadol capsules from one Baldev Raj, son of Mela Ram, owner of Mela Medicate R S Pura. A special squad of R S Pura Police, led by SHO Jai Pal Sharma along with officials of Drug Control Department searched Mela Medicate and Rakesh Medicos Phinder and sealed both shops on the spot. Police is also contemplating for cancellation of licences of both shops. Subsequently, a FIR vide no 130/2020 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station R S Pura. The entire operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO R S Pura Shabir Khan and overall supervision of SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
