State Times News JAMMU: Two-month long training programme on ‘Agri-Entrepreneurship Startup’ organised by Agri-Business Incubator, SKUAST-J concluded here on Friday. The training programme was sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare under RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme. The main focus of training programme was on Agribusiness startups and to provide technical mentoring to selected candidates for giving wings to their creative abilities. Dr K S Risam, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion and briefed about importance of innovation and agri-preneurship for upliftment of agricultural sector. He congratulated Dr Jyoti Kachroo, Head & PI-CEO Agri Business Incubator, SKUAST-J on successful completion of two months training programme. Later, Dr Risam distributed certificate among participants. Earlier, Dr Jyoti Kachroo, Prof and Head and PI, R-ABI SKUAST-J informed about activities undertaken during the programme. Bhavishya Devgun, Nikky Kumar Jha and Kuldeep Dhaliwal shared their experience regarding training programme.
