STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: Police on Sunday arrested three thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession at Samba. According to a report on June 10, 2019 a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Samba by two persons namely Suresh, son of Naval Kishore and Nath Ram, son of Parbhat both resident of Rajasthan at present in village Barian, Supwal, Samba stating therein that during the intervening night of May 29-30, 2019, some unknown burglars strike their house and decamped with three mobile phones and cash. Acting over the complaint, a case vide FIR No. 119/2019 under section 457/380 RPC was registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started. On the directions of Dr Koshal Sharma SSP Samba, a special team of Police Post Supwal headed by SI Tariq Ahmed, In-Charge Police Post Supwal was constituted under the supervision of Inspector Shiv Dev Singh, SHO Police station Samba and Deepak Digra, DYSP Headquarter Samba to work out the said case. During course of investigation, the police rounded up several suspects and finally succeeded in arresting the three thieves involved in the said burglary case. The accused persons have been identified as Ram Kumar, son of Gopi Chand, resident of Khori Arnas, Reasi; Surinder Sharma alias Sheendu, son of Shambu Ram, resident of Tirmatha Arnas, Reasi and Kishore Sharma Son of Makhan resident of Gosal Arnas, Reasi who have confessed their involvement in execution of crime and stolen three mobiles were recovered. During sustained interrogation six more mobile phones and one LED TV were also recovered on their disclosure.
