STATE TIMES NEWS BHADARWAH: Doda Police claimed to have solved the theft case by arresting the theif and recovering the stolen articles on Friday. According to reports, September last year, a case was registered at Police Station Doda on the written complaint of one Man Singh of Pathan area of Doda regarding theft of about 100 gram (10 tolla) Gold Ornaments from his house. SP Bhadarwah Raj Singh Gouria while addressing Press conference at Bhadarwah said that acting on the complaint and keeping in view the quality of stolen items, SSP Doda constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by SDPO Bhadarwah Aadil Rishu, while Incharge Police Post Prem Nager Balwant Singh Parihar was it’s member. SP Bhadarwah said that during the course of investigation, number of suspects were rounded up/ questioned and during course of investigation one notorious thief identified as Pervaiz Ahmed S/O Abdul Rashid resident of Kishtwar was arrested from Jammu. “During interrogation, he confessed that on that day he entered into the house of complainant and decamped with gold ornaments including Mangal Suttar, Rings, Necklace and Ear-rings, which were recovered from him on his disclosure. The whole drive was launched under the supervision of SP Bhadarwah Raj Singh Gouria and SDPO Aadil Rishu, on the directions of SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed.
