STATE TIMES NEWSDODA: President Thathri Development Front (TDF) Kuldeep Kumar Rao on Friday urged the Governor Satya Pal Malik to take up the files of corruption cases against several politicians and bureaucrats which are gathering dust in the civil secretariat where efforts have been made for these files to die their own death with the passage of time. He also appealed that necessary amendments be made in the relevant laws to give more teeth to the Law Enforcing Agencies to deal with such cases suitably. Rao said that during last 7 decades, the employees of class III and IV including clerks, Patwaris and peons have been punished in corruption cases in the State of Jammu and Kashmir but not a single bureaucrat or politician has been convicted when several corruption cases against Ministers, MLAs and bureaucrats are pending. He said that the need of the hour is to expose all these tested political entities irrespective of their caste, creed, colour and region so that an innocent voter could identify them and ignore them at the right time.
