State Times NewsJAMMU: In a quick action by Incharge Police Post Nehru Market SI Sumeet Sharma, stolen cash amounting to Rs 4,00,000 was recovered in no time and the accused was also nabbed.As per details, a written complaint was lodged by Karan Sethi, son of Bishan Sethi, resident of Kalakote Rajouri that cash amounting to Rs 4,00,000 was stolen from his truck. Acting on the complaint, a case vide FIR No 130/2020 under Section 380 of IPC was registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation of the aforesaid case was entrusted to SI Om Prakash of Police Station Gandhi Nagar. Later, the investigation was handed over to Police Post Nehru Market. During interrogation, many suspects were detained and questioned, which led to arrest of main accused namely Sunil Kumar, son of Bansi Lal, resident of Sumah Akhnoor. The stolen cash was also recovered from his possession. The arrest and recovery was made under the guidance of SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Gurnam Choudhary, SDPO South DySP Ram Singh and SP South Deepak Digra and overall supervision of SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
