STATE TIMES NEWS LEH: In an endeavour to ensure road safety, SSP Leh Sargun Shukla on Thursday flagged off a Critical Care Ambulance and 10 Royal Enfield Himalayan Bikes. The Critical Care Ambulance shall be stationed at Kharu has been provided to District Police Leh by ‘Pragya’ for ensuring effective rescue and medical services along the highway. The 10 Royal Enfield Himalayan Bikes have been provided to District Police Leh under CSR by Royal Enfield India under ‘Ride Safe in Himalayas’ project which will be stationed at different locations of Leh District. Sargun Shukla while the flag off ceremony thanked ‘Pragya’ and Royal Enfield for this partnership which she hoped will continue in future as well. DySP Hq Leh Ishtyaq A Kacho, DySP DAR Ashiq Malik, Police Medical Officer, Dr. Palmo besides officers of DPL Leh were also present on the occasion.
