LG of UT of J&K must dismiss SRO-202 of earlier government before new recruitments are advertised
Daya SagarSince Lt Governor UT of J&K Girish Chandra Murmu said to have once again vouched / emphasized on simplifying the recruitment procedures/ for faster recruitment/ transparent / flawless recruitments people ( particularly the youth ) are also expecting that Murmu will apply the much needed correction to the policies /wage disparities / unfair rules that had been cultivated directly / indirectly by the earlier governments for making irrational appointment even against regular job requirements on reduced wages upto 5 years like under SRO-202 date 30-06-2020 rules (The Jammu and Kashmir Special Recruitment Rules ordered by PDP-BJP Government even after the most irrational NC- Congress Govt.’s New Recruitment Policy Order No.257-F of 2011 dated 27-10-2011 had been with drawn by Omar Abdullah government itself in 2014 ). To quote as per rule-10 SRO-202 the appointee ( even for gazetted posts that Government may notify from time to time unlike NC- Congress New Recruitment Policy that was only for non- gazetted post ) shall not be entitled to any annual increments, DA, HRA ,CCA, other allowances ( except medical allowance of Rs.300) for first five years’ service or till placed in regular pay scale and Administration of J&K had even made appointment of Medical Officer under No. 49 -HME of 2019 Dated: 14.01.2019 under SRO 202.
This 22nd May it has been reported that very soon the Government is going to notify over 10,000 posts open to only Domiciles of UT of J&K for Accelerated Recruitment . Lt Governor has been regularly expressing his intentions focussing on the watching the interests of the aspiring job seeking youth right from the appointed day, the 31-10-2019, of the Union Territory of J&K. Quoting Navin Kumar Choudhary (Financial Commissioner, Finance Department) Chairman of Accelerated Recruitment Committee, that has completed the job in just 10 days, it has been disclosed by government sources that around 7000 posts from 19 departments have been identified for issuing advertisements in first phase starting in June 2020 ; and another 2000 posts of Panchayat Accounts Assistants, more than 1000 posts of Doctors and about 100 posts of Veterinarians too are ready for inclusion in selection process. To what great extent of unreasonable loss an appointee could be put has been briefly shown in the Table-1 above. In all fairness of the things Lt. Governor UT of J&K is expected to set an example by dismissing the unfair SRO-202 Dated 30-06-2015 of the earlier Government before new recruitments are advertised.
