Dear Editor, The word social distancing is very unsuitable and inappropriate in its usage. Now a days everyone is listening this newly coined compound word. Man is a social animal and it is quite impossible for humans to maintain the protocol of social distancing. Even in this isolated and self quarantine scenario we are interconnected with each other through various social networking mediums. We are connected through internet, radios, television and other social sites with our society. But we are totally unaware about the real meaning of the terns. However the word physical distancing is very suitable and appropriate in current time in which we are asked to maintain the distance from each other due to spread of COVID 19 pandemic. There is a big contrast between two words and their meanings. It is very easy to maintain the physical distancing in life but being a sensible humans we can’t practise the social distancing in our life.
