Dear Editor, I request you to kindly publish genuine grievances faced by the residents of Bhour Camp in your esteemed paper for favourable action and resolution by the concerned department. There is a requirement of Snan Ghat (Bathing Ghat) near Shamshaan Ghat Bhour Camp due to which society in general and females in particular are facing problems in modern era of 21st century and in a country heading towards self-reliance. After cremation and rituals of 10th day, females of the family and relatives go to bath and wash their cloths in the river. Due to dirty water in Balol Nallah and non availability of Snan Ghat it becomes difficult for females to complete the task. One can imagine how females feel inconvenience while completing customs in open. Sometimes Panchayat Ghar is used, if available, otherwise hand pump is used for the purpose. All concerned have been apprised of the problem but no action have been taken in this regard till date. Through the medium of your esteemed paper the higher authorities in the government are requested to direct the concerned department to construct a Snan Ghat facility near Shamshaan Ghat for resolving a long pending demand of 1947 refugees from POJK. Pt Chaman Lal Sharma, Bhour Camp (Jammu).
