Six DySPs promoted as SPs

JAMMU: The Government on Thursday promoted six Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySPs) as Superintendents of Police (SPs) and transferred s and postings thereof.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the promotion of six Deputy Superintendents of Police as Superintendents of Police, on officiating basis,” reads the order issued by Home Department. those who have been promoted include Shabir Ahmad, Shamsher Singh Sambyal, Surinder Kumar, Ravail Singh Choudharu, Pran Nath and Harjeet Singh. Consequently, Shamsher Singh Sambyal has been posted as Dy. Commandant IRP 15th Bn Jammu and Harjeet Singh posted as Dy. Commandant IRP 14th Battalion Channi Himmat. The other officers, namely, Shabir Ahmed, Surinder Kumar Ravail Singh and Pran Nath, shall report to the Home Department and await further posting, the order stated.
