STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: To make the students aware about Sikhism, Sikh Aid, Jammu on Sunday conducted a religious test for students in Unique Public Higher Secondary School, Gadigarh here wherein about four hundred students participated. This test was divided into three groups. First group consisted of the students of classes 2nd to 5th, second group consisted of students of classes 6th to 8th and third group consisted of students of classes 9th to 12th. “The meritorious students will be awarded in the Gurmat Samagam which is going to be held on July 27, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Upper Gadigarh Jammu,” Paramjit Singh Pamma, one of the Sikh Aid members, said. Each group will get first prize amounting to Rs. 5000, second prize Rs. 4000 and third prize Rs. 3000, he added. In addition to this there are seventeen consolation prizes amounting to Rs. 1000 for each group. The prominent among those who attended and lauded the efforts of Sikh Aid include the members of Sikhs 4 All Foundation, Jasvinder Singh and DGPC member and General Secretary Fateh Singh. The Sikh Aid members Sarabjeet Singh Shabbu, Onkar Singh, Rajinder Singh and Harbans Kour thanked all the parents, students and dignitaries for their cooperation.
