JAMMU: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, on Monday organised the Dussehra celebrations.The school was decorated with colourful handmade buntings. Rameshwar Mengi, Principal of the School addressed the staff members to inculcate and inspire the feeling of ‘Love and Respect’ for our rich and glorious cultural values and traditions among the students for their mental growth and moral awakening to enable them to grow into responsible, truthful, enlightened and progressive citizens of the modern global society.Meanwhile, Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar conducted an online Inter- School Puppet- Making Activity for the students of 5th on Dussehra.The Students participated in this activity with great enthusiasm, and showed their excellent creativity by making different kinds of puppets of Ravan.Parth Gupta from Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, Shivani Saini from Shiksha Niketan High School Gandhi Nagar and Yohika from RM Public School, Chowadhi got first, second and third places respectively.The activity was judged by Suman Gupta, the Art and Craft Teacher in Tiger Army Pre-Primary School, Kaluchak.Rameshwar Mengi, Principal of the School appreciated the efforts of the participating students.
