State Times NewsJAMMU: To make the students aware about the importance of education for the individuals and the world communities at large, Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu conducted Online Inter-school Poster Making Competition for class 6th students on World Literacy Day.The theme of the competition was to focus on ‘Digital Teaching – Learning Process during the COVID -19 Crisis and beyond’.All the students of class 6th from various sister-concern schools of Shiksha Niketan took part in the competition with interest and enthusiasm.The competition was judged by Shweta Art and Craft teacher of Doon International School Jammu.Out of all the six participants, three were shortlisted by the judge. The first position was bagged by Abhinav Choudhary of (6th E) from SNS Jeevan Nagar while second and third positions were bagged by Saloni (6th E) and Riffat Choudhary (6th B) both from RM Public School Jammu.The Principal of the School, Rameshwar Mengi appreciated the efforts of the concerned teachers for their initiative and guidance to encourage proper and inspire the students for expressing their artistic talents.He also appreciated all the six participants and also congratulated the winners.
