STATE TIMES NEWS KATRA: Shat Chandi Maha Yagya organised by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji during Navratras for peace, prosperity and health of humanity, concluded today with Purna Ahuti, on the auspicious occasion of Ramanavami. Ramesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board; Vivek Verma, Additional CEO and Naresh Kumar, SDM Bhawan; participated in Purna Ahuti and other religious ceremonies performed amidst Vedic Mantras on the occasion. The Shat Chandi Maha Yagya was telecast from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily during these Navratras. There was also live Darshans of Maa Vaishno Devi’s Pindi Roop every day during morning and evening Aarti during the Navratras, which shall be continued further in view of the demand of the devotees. It is pertinent to mention that in view of the prevailing situation due to coronavirus, the Yatra to the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji has been suspended from March 18, 2020. However, Pooja, Aarti and all other rituals are being performed at the Holy Cave Shrine as usual.
