Secretary DYSS felicitates Taekwondo players

POONCH: Commissioner Secretary, Sports and Tourism, Sarmad Hafeez on Wednesday visited Sports Stadium Poonch.
He interacted Taekwondo and Hockey players and their coaches.
During his visit, Taekwondo players both in boys and girls category demonstrate taekwondo skills and various bouts of Taekwondo was also held apart from this a hockey match was also conducted.
Commissioner Secretary lauded the efforts of players and officials of Taekwondo and hockey who impart training to the young boys and girls and making them for national level and international stuff.
He said that he is very happy to see the girls performing in Taekwondo and compete equally with boys.
He also assured every possible help for developing sports persons and sports infrastructure of J&K UT.
Later, he also felicitated taekwondo players and coach namely Khalida Jabeen, Manpreet Kour, Vishvas Sudan, Vishnu Raina, Akarshit Sudan and Coach Rajinder Singh who represent India in World School Taekwondo Poomsae virtual Championship organized by Nepal School Sports Federation under the banner of International School Sports Federation of the world.
Accompanied by the District Development Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav, also present were SSP Poonch, Romesh Kumar Angral; Incharge district (DYSS) officer, Mohd Qasim, Incharge Sports Stadium, Nirdosh Kumar, Narinder Singh (ZPEO), Pawan Kumar (PEL), Vijay Kumar, Amresh Kumar, Sourab Sharma (all PEMs), Amit Sharma Org Secretary PDTA Rajinder Singh Toofan, Sunil Raina , Rajinder Singh (PET), Ravinder Singh, Pervaiz Malik Afridi, sachin Sharma, Kavaldeep Singh, Ajaz ahmed (all ReK teacchers) and Navjot Singh (Hockey coach).
The Demonstration of both Taekwondo and Hockey was organised by DYSSO Poonch in collaboration with Poonch Taekwondo Academy and Sham Lal Hockey Academy Poonch and under the technical supervision of Rajinder Singh Physical Education Teacher, National Referee of Taekwondo and Pawan Kumar (PEL, DYSS).
