Leh: A ten-day Mushroom Cultivation programme conducted by State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) concluded here on Friday.A total of 22 unemployed youth were trained in it from different areas of Leh including remote villages of Nubra Valley.On the occasion, a function was organized in which certificate of participations were distributed by Dr Feroz Din Sheikh, Head KVK Leh.Dr Sheikh said the purpose of training is not just to get certificate. He encouraged the participants to take the mushroom growing at large scale as there is good scope of mushroom in the local market.He also announced that in future more of such programmes will be conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Leh in association wth SBI RSETI Leh.The programme was also attended by Dr Vikas Gupta (Scientist KVK Leh) and Ghulam Qadir (Distt Officer KVIB).Anil Singh, Director SBI RSETI Leh also congratulated the participants on successful completion of Bakery training.Anil Singh also welcomed the trainees of Plumbing and Sanitary works which also started on the occasion.The vote of thanks was presented by Sonam Chozang, Faculty SBI RSETI Leh.
