STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: For providing best possible infra to inhabitants of Jammu West at their doorsteps, former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma started construction work for Shiva Multipurpose Community Hall at Janipur Colony. The funds for construction of hall have already been sanctioned by the former MLA from his CDF during his tenure while the work got delayed due to Model Code of Conduct and other reasons. The work, which started today after all clearance of all formalities, will be completed under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 5.28 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, Sat said that the hall once constructed can be used by locals for various purposes. “There is no proper place in the area for performing rituals such as Rasam Pagri, Uthala or other social functions. This hall will also cater to all such needs of locals,” he asserted. Ward President Sahil Gupta, Sangeeta Verma, Dr Sudershan Gupta, Ricky Gupta, Rajan, Vipan Gupta, Babu Ram, Vicky, Bittu Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Meena Jamwal, Neeru Sehgal, Swaran Singh, Dr Gyan Singh, Surinder Bhasin, Kulbir Singh and Gill were also present on the occasion.
