JAMMU: To provide better civic amenities to the residents of Jammu West, State Vice President BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) started the works for deep drains (Nallah) in New Plot area of Ward Number 16.
The work for deep drains will be done under the supervision of UEED at an estimated cost of around Rs 2.50 lakhs.
Sat said that it was long pending demand of the people of the New Plot area and hoped that it will prove to be beneficial for coping up with basic necessities of the public.
XEn UEED Rajesh Gupta, AEE UEED Shishir Kahjuria, JE UEED Vikram Koul, former Corporators Dinesh Gupta and Balwan Singh, Onkar Singh Bose, Meera Samral, Sanjay Sawhney and Ankush were also present on the occasion.
