STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: IGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh has said that internet services have been restored in five districts of Jammu zone namely Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur and Reasi. “The general public is requested to refrain from sharing/ circulating any type of fake messages/videos in social media, which might vitiate peaceful atmosphere. Strict legal action will be taken against whosoever found to be circulating hate messages,” IGP Jammu said in a statement issued here on Saturday. “In Jammu Zone, markets remained open and traffic plied normally. Schools were also opened in Rajouri, Ramban and Doda Districts by district administration. Telephone service was restored in Rajouri. Overall situation in the region remained peaceful throughout Jammu zone,” he said.
