STATE TIMES NEWS SURANKOTE: On the directions of District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav, a special revenue camp for issuance of Domicile Certificates was organised on Monday at Surankote. Advance information was given to the public of area through Lamberdars and Chowkidars of areas and Patwaries of the Halqas concerned. A large number of people of villages Samote, Surankote, Gunthal, and Potha participated in the camp. As many as 715 Domicile Certificates were issued to the applicants in the camp. Besides Senior citizen of Surankote Hamid Manhas, Chairman Surankote Municipality, Mumtaz Ahmed Bajjar, Sanjay kessar the ward Councillors of the area were also present in the camp. The camp was held under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Surankote, Sheraz Ahmed Chauhan, Naib Tehsildar Surankote, Taruf Hussain Shah, Naib Tehsildar Probationer, Parvaiz Ahmed and Patwaries of concerned Halqas Ajaz Shah, Imtiaz Charak, Musarat Shah, as well as officials of Tehsil Surankote were present on the occasion. SDM Surankote, Saleem Ahmed Quraishi , also appreciated the holding of camp at the main town of Surankote. He assured the public that such camps will also be held in future but at the same time asked for maintaining of social distance on priority.
