UDHAMPUR: Expressing the anxiety over the attachment of Inspr. Vijay Choudhary at DPL, NPP Distt President Sanjit Sharma while leading a massive protest at Slathia Chowk Udhampur said that officer should be retained as SHO Udhampur as his great efforts to make the city drug free have led to the nabbing of drug peddlers at a fast rate in the previous days.
Rate of increasing of drugs in city as well as in the State is a serious threat on our society, he added
Further Sharma, disclosed that party’s intentions are not against any department or officer but they only demand that the officer should be allowed to continue as S.H.O Udhampur which will be beneficial to trap drug peddlers at high rate in future too.
Scores of party workers including senior leaders Distt Youth President Jagdev Singh Jagga, Distt Vice President Sunil Gudda, Subash Singh, Ajay Singh, Amit Sharma, Prikshit Khajuria, Deepak Singh etc were also present.
