Religious Samagam organised on Prakash Purab of Guru Ram Dass

POONCH: A Religious Samagam was held in Gurdwara Mahant Sahib near District Hospital Poonch in connection with celebration of Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ramdas Ji on Sunday. The programme was organised by Shri Guru Ramdas Ji Sewa Society (SGRDSS) Poonch.
After accomplishment of Shri Akhand Path, Gurbani Kirtan was recited by Ragi Jathas of Bhai Inderjeet Singh Sagar from Ludiana and other local Ragi Jathas including Bhai Rasmeet Singh Hazuri Ragi, Bhai Harcharan Singh, Bhai Sartaj Singh, Jasbir Singh and Bhai Bupinder Singh.
On the occasion, Parcharak Bhai Rajpal Singh from Amritsar threw light on life history of Guru Ramdas ji and his contributions for humanity and Sikh religion in particular. Bhai Rajpal Singh stressed upon the devotees to recite Sehaj Path. Balbir Singh General Secretary Ramdas Sewa Society did the proceedings of the programme.
Organiser Guru Ram Dass Sewa Society Anmol Singh expressed gratitude towards Sangat, Ragi Jathas and Parcharak for participating in the programme. Guru Ka Langar was also served during the Samagam. Others present on the occasion included Daljeet Singh President SGRDSS, Surinder Singh Bajaj Vice Present DGPC, Parveen Singh Cashier, Prof Nama Singh Ex President, Onkar Singh President Gurdwara Rocha Singh, Surjan Singh, Joint Secretary DGPC, Khazan Singh, Surinder Singh and Gurmeet Singh.
