BISHNAH: Intensifying its poll campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in the State, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Sr. Leader F.C Bhagat Contesting candidate in Bishnah on Sunday held a workers meeting including those who joined the party. Meeting was held at Khothey Saini in Bishnah Constituency to discuss the modalities of the campaign.
The poll campaign, workers-cum-public meeting was held under the leadership of F.C Bhagat and other party leader Chatter Saini Dist. President, S.P Charak J and K President Kissan Cell, Yashpal Bhagat Province President Kissan Cell and Surinder Sharma were also present.
Hundreds of party workers including members of women wings, ward presidents and zonal presidents participated and discussed the strategy for poll campaign.
In the meeting, workers were asked to intensify the party activities on ground level and to establish constructive contact with general masses.
They were also asked to hold public meetings at block and booth levels to apprise public about the policies of PDP.
Addressing workers and Public, F.C Bhagat castigated the State Government for being responsible for mis-governance in the State.
The PDP leader reminded workers and public that it will formulate a comprehensive policy for development of border areas if voted to power in Assembly elections. It was also highlighted in the meeting that in rest of India Saini community falls in the OBC category and stressed that if party comes to power same status will also be given to the community in J and K State.
Parveen Kumar, Ashwani Saini, Balbir Saini, Heera Saini and Shakti Saini were also present on the occasion.
