STATE TIMES NEWS NOWSHERA: Rashtriya Rifle Battalion located at Lam, Qila Darhal Tehsil Rajouri District conducted an Next of Kin rally (NoK) on Thursday. The rally was inaugurated by Commander 14Sector Rashtriya Rifles. Approximately 12 veer Naris, 40 widows and 100 dependents of soldiers who laid down their life in the line of duty attended the rally. The rally was organised in order to carry out interaction with the dependents of next of Kin and address their grievances related to person issues, other related problems and also to spread awareness regarding various welfare schemes of Government. Civil administration Officer of ASP Nowshera, Tehsildar Qila Darhal BMO,ZEO, SHO, Nowshera, Sarpanchs, opinion makers of nearly villages and army officials were present during the rally. Various stalls like ECHS ,Zila Sanik Welfare Board, CSD facility and medical assistance were catered to assist the NoK. Represenatative of ECHS and Zila Sainik Welfare Board, Rajouri addressed the gathering on various welfare schemes of both state and central governments. Various issues of widows and Veer Naris concerning pensions benefits , death benefits and Ex-Gratia benefits were resolved during the rally. Pamphlet covering various welfare schemes for Noks were also distributed to all attendees. During the event a total of 40 digital BP checking machines and 16 sugar testing machines were distributed to the effected Noks.
