STATE TIMES NEWS RAMBAN: As part of the ongoing public outreach programme, MoS for Food Processing Industries, Rameswar Teli on Friday met scores of public delegations, individuals and listened to their issues and grievances, here at Kanthi village. The people, led by BDC Chairpersons and Sarpanchs, projected a number of public issues and sought immediate redress of their concerns. The Minister, giving a patient hearing to the deputations, said that the merit of each demand will be analyzed and action will be taken on priority to redress genuine issues. Later, the minister also visited Baglihar Hydroelectric Power Project (BHPP), where he stressed on taking steps to enable the local people to reap the benefits of the mega project. He further asked for taking up Local Area Development. Chief Engineer JKSPDC along with engineering staff briefed the minister about functioning of power project.
