JAMMU/NEW DELHI: Secretary General, Volleyball Federation of India, Ramavtar Singh Jakhar was on Monday elected as Zonal Executive Vice-President and Member, Board of Administration of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) in the 23rd AVC General Assembly Meeting, held virtually.Dr. Ary S. Graca, President, Federation Internationale De Volleyball (FIVB), Jizhong Wei, Life President AVC, Dr. Saleh Ahmad Bin Nasser, President AVC were participated in the virtual meeting. Rita Subowo has been elected as President of Asian Volleyball Confederation. The others members from Asian Central Zone who were elected for the AVC Board of Administration include Md Atiqul Islam from Bangladesh, Yermek Syrylbavey from Kazakhstan and Mohammad Reza Davarzani from Iran. This is great achievement for Indian Volleyball that a person from Indian origin has become the Zonal Executive Vice-President and Member, Board of Administration of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).Volleyball fraternity is elated to receive this great news and wholeheartedly congratulated Ramavtar Singh Jakhar.Patron-in-Chief, Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir Raj Daluja, President Sidharth Daluja, CEO Kuldeep Magotra, Secretary, V.K Magotra, Treasurer, R.C Sharma and all officer bearers congratulated to Ramavtar Singh Jakhar on his new appointment.
