STATE TIMES NEWS HIRANAGAR: J&KPYC President Uday Bhanu Chib along with Ajaz Choudhary, Vice President JKPYC and Romi Sharma, President District Kathua unit visited borders areas of Hiranagar and met with farmers to know about the problems being faced by them. The farmers apprised the J&KPYC President about the non-available of regular power supply due to which they are unable to give water to their corps which a matter of serious concern. They said that the department has only provided power three to four hours in a day. We are also unable to use power genset due to sky-rocketing pricing of diesel, they said, demanding rollback of diesel prices. They further apprised Chib over non-available of quality seeds from the Agriculture Culture which will also effect on their crops. Calling the BJP Government at the Centre as the worst performing, Chib accused the J&K BJP leaders of being apathetic to the miseries of farmers. Instead of working on doubling the income of farmers, BJP has not showing its serious concern towards their genuine demands. Giving patient hearing to the farmers, Uday Chib said that he would highlight their plights at appropriate level and assured that Congress Party will stand with them in the hour of crisis. Those who accompanied the J&KPYC President included Dilwar Singh, District Vice President, Rahul Nagla, Mohinder Pal and Gagandeep.
