There is no doubt in the fact that prayer can heal the world beyond limits and faith in almighty is something which can bestow eternal power in humans to fight adversaries whether visible or invisible like corona contagion. While under threat of fear or uncertainty turning to omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God is a fantastic option to respond to the situation with apt mindset and high morale. Surely prayer holds adequate strength to deal with restlessness and anxiety related to coronavirus upheaval. Lately, due to ignorance of some elements of society who in the name of prayer have ruthlessly defied lockdown restrictions and gathered in large numbers at place of worship resulting into alarming rise in coronavirus spread across the nation has lead to people thinking that prayers might have adverse effects in dealing with corona. But the truth is contrary as the government has prohibited religious gatherings and not praying. People can relentlessly offer prayers from their residences and other places where they have been stuck due to lockdown keeping only one thing in mind that they do not defy social distancing norms while praying. All religions without any distinction preach that ‘Almighty’ is the ultimate healer and there is no doubt that praying could help a lot in strengthening willpower of humans to fight any disease. It is a known fact that prayer reduces anxiety and depression which helps people to react to such situations more cognitively rather than poignantly. During such testing times in which there is worldwide concern over a virus without a treatment, a peaceful approach and surrender before God asking for bailing out the entire humanity out of this crisis holds the key and is a good option. The concept of collective consciousness and its strength will also work in giving sigh of relief to people if all of them collectively pray to God to save the humanity from the cruel hands of deadly coronavirus infection. Surely, God is the number one healer of all and praying can help extensively.
