STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Northern Region Transmission System-II Jammu in the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week-2019 on Tuesday organised poster making contest in the premises of Institute of Music and Fine Arts (IMFA), University of Jammu. Participants were asked to make the poster on the theme of ‘Integrity-A way of Life’. Prof. Satnam Kour, Principal of IMFA was the Chief Guest on the occasion who was accompanied by Sudhir Dhar, Dy General Manager Vigilance and Hans Raj Sapia, Chief Manager Vigilance. The event was coordinated by noted painter Rohit Verma. Prof. Satnam threw light upon the biography of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who contributed a lot for the integration of India. She emphasised on the need to maintain communal harmony on the country and enthusing moral values among people of pluralistic culture of besides underlining the importance of customs, traditions and rituals of the nation. Aman Verma clinched first prize while Sachin Kumar and Divisha Jandial got second and third prizes respectively. Nishika Sabharwal, Anmol Bonss and Vikas Singh Choudhary attained consolation prizes. Rakesh Kumar HoD Applied Arts and Rohit Verma faculty Painting Department of IMFA acted as adjudicators.
