State Times News JAMMU: Apropos to a news being circulated on social media regarding the death of a person namely M.L Koul of Ambika Vihar Talab Tillo Jammu, police refuted the claim saying that information is incorrect. District Police has clarified that on April 3, 2020 while the police was distributing ration in the area, they were told that a person had fallen down. Police immediately visited the spot and took the person to the GMC, where doctors declared him dead. “The post mortem report issued by the doctors mentioned death due to cardiac arrest”, the police clarified adding that the news item circulated on social media is fabricated and far from the reality as no police action was involved and a duty magistrate was also present on the spot. It is reiterated that action will be taken against anyone spreading false news.
