UDHAMPUR: Police on Saturday handed over lost wallet containing cash and other documents to its owner.As per details, a police party comprising Sgct Sunil Kumar and Ct Mohd Afzal posted at Police Station Rehambal, while patrolling in Chopra Shop market found a wallet containing Rs 5,100 cash along with some important documents such as ATM cards, Driving license, Adhaar Card etc. Later, after proper verification, the same was handed-over to the owner namely Sahil Verma, son of Romesh Chander, resident of Jib, Udhampur.For the act of honesty, wallet owner thanked Insp. Chaman Gorka, SHO Police Station Rehambal and other police personnel. Senior Superintendent of Police Udhampur Sargun Shukla has also appreciated cops for displaying such act of honesty.
