STATE TIMES NEWS SRINAGAR: Higher Education Department on Monday asked Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) aspiring students of 2019-20 not to share their password or credentials with anybody to avoid any difficulty in joining the institution of their choice. The issue came to notice during a recently conducted round of online counselling for PMSSS 2019-20 aspiring students from J&K State whose admission was not as per merit basis.
The aspiring students had informed the department that by mistake they shared the password and other credentials with the Cyber Cafe located in Jammu.
The aforesaid Cyber Café has misused their password/credentials and uploaded their own choices and therefore allotted institution /course as per the choice provided by the Cyber Café and not by the eligible aspiring candidate.
