State Times News SAMBA: Taking stern action against violators of orders, issued by DM Samba to contain spread of COVID 19 in the district, Samba Police on Sunday booked owner of a fast food shop under relevant sections for violating relaxation conditions under jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur. As per details, a party from Police Station Vijaypur while performing patrolling in Vijaypur town, booked a person identified as Pardeep Singh, son of Darshan Singh, resident of Randhawa Colony, Vijaypur for running his fast-food shop at Ward No 12 beyond permissible time slot. Later, while checking of aforesaid shop, 8 bottles of liquor were also recovered which he used to sell to general public at exorbitant rates to gain illegitimate profit. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 135/2020 under Sections 188 of IPC, 50 of Excise Act has been registered against him at Police Station Vijaypur.
