JAMMU: The officers and officials of J&K State Pollution Control Board, on Friday accorded a warm adieu to Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, Administrative Officer, who is attaining superannuation from Government service Nov 30, 2020, after rendering 37 years of meritorious service in different departments of J&K.The officer hailing from a remote village of District Kupwara, Kashmir, started his career as Junior Assistant in Planning & Development Department, J&K Government in 1983 and elevated to the rank of prestigious Administrative Officer with the passage of time.On the occasion, an impressive farewell function was organized in the office complex of Board, wherein various speakers lauded the role of officer for his promptness in resolving the issues of public interest particularly issues pertaining to employees, during his tenure in the JK PCB since October, 2018.The speakers described the officer a meticulous, humble, cooperative and efficient and will be remembered for such wonderful qualities.Chairman, JK PCB, Suresh Chugh and B.M.Sharma, Member Secretary, JK PCB appreciated the role of officer and wished him a happy and healthy retirement life.
