Pathetic condition of roads in Bharat Nagar

Dear Editor,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the miserable condition of roads in Bharat Nagar. The condition of roads is deplorable with countless potholes making the purpose of the road, a failure. Moreover, things get even worse during rains when potholes are not visible due to the poor drainage system and area becomes heavily accident-prone. The residents are facing a lot of inconvenience due to deteriorated roads.
We, residents of ward no 40 Bharat Nagar, are living in this mess from last 6 months. Despite numerous complaints and appeals no one had paid any heed to our problems.
Owing to pitiful condition of the road, students, senior citizens and employees have to face hardships in reaching their destinations. A number of two-wheeler riders have met with accidents due to damaged road. Bikers usually lose control over vehicles when they encounter these potholes. Many accidents have taken place due to the problem but still no one bothered to pay attention towards.
It is unfortunate that our corporator is also not listening to our problems and has done nothing to resolve this issue.
On behalf of the residents of Bharat Nagar, I humbly request the concerned authorities to pay attention towards this.
