STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Slamming Pakistan Government for continuously supporting terrorism in India to vitiate peaceful atmosphere of the country, a number of activists of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DFSS) led by its President Ashok Gupta on Sunday held a protest against the rogue nation for its attempts to supply ammunition and drugs into the country.Raising slogans in support of BSF, the DFSS activists said that it is only due to the strong defence of our brave hearts that common man sleeps peacefully in his house.Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Gupta said, “Pakistan is hell bent to destroy peaceful atmosphere of India and wants to infect and spoil our future generations by injecting drugs. Last week, BSF troops foiled a mischievous attempt by anti-national elements and recovered rifles, pistols & ammunition from along Indo-Pak border at Abohar, Firozepur district in Punjab. 3 AK-47 rifles with six magazines and 91 rounds, two M-16 Rifles with four magazines and 57 rounds were recovered by the security personnel.” He further said that narco-terrorism is an integral component of Pakistan’s policy used for funding and conducting asymmetric warfare against its neighbour-India.Pertinent to mention here that alert Border Security Force (BSF) personnel foiled a bid to smuggle arms, ammunition and narcotics into India from Pakistan at Arnia along 198 Km long International Border (IB) in R S Pura sector of Jammu division during intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. He further stated that yesterday a large quantity of drugs was recovered in Mumbai from some Kashmiris, so it would not be a far-fetched thing to say that the drugs caught at the border were on its way to Mumbai. “Pakistan’s plan to inflict drugs in Bollywood is mainly aimed at destroying our generation as the Bollywood stars are the youth icons who are followed religiously. There are clear indications that Pakistani-based narco-terrorist networks have stepped up their activities on Indo-Pakistan international border and are making incessant attempts to push intruders, arms, ammunition and narcotics into India,” he added.Others present on the occasion included Ankush, Bhanu, Sukhdev, Sahil, Vikrant, Abhishek, Neeraj, Ajay, Abhishek Verma and Vishal.
