STATE TIMES NEWS RAJOURI: Two separate cases were on Tuesday registered against the representatives of two brick kilns in Nowshera area after both were found in working mode even after restriction order issued by District Magistrate Rajouri. Owners of a carpenter shop have also been booked in Thanamandi area. In an official handout, JK Police in Rajouri said that Ram Khalan son of Bala Ram resident of Uttar Pradesh and working as representative (Munshi) of Heer Brick Kilin in Chowki village of Nowshera have been booked in a case FIR 61/20 under section 188 IPC in Nowshera police station. Similarly, a case in FIR 62/20 under sections 188 IPC have been registered against Ramesh Chander son of Isher Dass resident of Rajal working as representative (Munshi) of Ganesh Brick Kilin Nowshera. Police said that during inspection, both the brick kilns were found working and laborers were also engaged for work in both the establishments. Police said that further investigation into the matter is going on whereas matter shall also be taken up against the competent authority for action as per law in terms of issuance and suspension of license. Meanwhile, a team of Thanamandi police station was on routine patrolling on Thanamandi Rajouri road when at Soura bridge, a carpenter shop was found open and both it’s owners Mohammad Zaman son of Basharat Hussain and Mohammad Altaf son of Mir Hussain resident of Khablan Thanamandi were present in the shop while four to five person were also standing in the shop. Taking note, police have registered a case in FIR 65/2020 under sections 188, 269 IPC and 3 Epidemic Disease Act against both the owners and investigation have been taken up.
