STATE TIMES NEWS LEH: The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Sachin Kumar Vaishya on Monday directed that no government doctor will be allowed to work in private clinics between 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM in Leh District. Chairing a meeting here, the Deputy Commissioner discussed services of medical consultants and other issues related of Health Department. He directed the President, Chemists Association, Leh in particular to ensure that no government doctor works at private clinics between aforesaid times. In order to ensure staff at duty in the hospitals, Vaishya instructed Medical Superintendent, SNM Hospital Leh to submit biometric attendance of hospital staff to his office on daily-basis. He also directed Station Manager Leh, Air India to have reserved quota in cargo for ensuring uninterrupted supply of medicines in winter months. The Deputy Commissioner also constituted a committee headed by ADDC Leh, Moses Kunzang to fix wages/allowances of security guards to be employed at SNM Hospital, Leh. District Drug Inspector Leh, President Chemists Association Leh and other chemists also attended the meeting.
