STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday took over the case of shooting down a Pakistani drone carrying one M4 carbine machine (US-made), two filled magazines (60 rounds) and seven Chinese grenades near International Border. According to the FIR register by the NIA, on June 20, 2020, the troops of BSF patrolling party while patrolling at Pansar, noticed and shot down a hexa-coper, inside the Indian Territory. According to the NIA, initial investigation has revealed that sender and receiver of the consignment may be linked to JeM as the launch pads of JeM are located in Shakargarh-Narowal Belt of Pakistan side of International Border just opposite to the place where the drone was shot down.
