The rich culture of India rather Indian Sub-continent dated back to unknown eras has taught the countrymen to respect all the things whether living or non-living which in one way or other proved bountiful to humankind. Going through this tradition, the Indians have started considering doctors and nurses next to God, the notion which otherwise also seems rationale as these professionals sacrifice their comforts to ensure good health and long life of community members. It was appropriate to tag them as corona warriors of top level as majority of them have given service beyond human capacity to save lives and protect people from contracting contagion corona, which has otherwise wreak havoc in the country and elsewhere. Except some black sheep who never shirked to taint the image of this noble profession by committing follies which are against human ethics, almost entire fraternity of health workers deserve kudos and those who lost battle of life while serving corona patients also need to be remembered till eternity as their sacrifice has no match since it being supreme. Giving all sorts of facilities and additional perks to doctors and akin is a prime duty of the government and it is good that every now and then governments at different levels are coming up to facilitate medicos engaged in the fight against corona. The latest sop for the medical fraternity is considering the quarantine period of doctors as ‘on duty’. Otherwise also those connected with this profession are in a way ‘on duty’ round-the-clock as whosoever has some medical ailment never shirks from consulting a medico if the same is available irrespective of them being on duty or not. Surely these Gods deserve all help and support to continue with their noble jobs endlessly.
