STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: National Welfare Society on Saturday constituted a district body to make people aware about democratic and secular status of Indian Constitution by way of approaching the public at ground level. The district body comprised of Shiv Rattan Singh as Chairman , Ajit Singh as Convener, Sarvjeet Singh as President, Jagdish Raj Bhagat as Vice President, Kundan Lal Sharma as General Secretary, K.S Khajura as Publicity Secretary and Gurdev Singh as Cashier. Besides, Santokh Singh Komal, Inderjeet Singh Chamak, Dr Jaswant Singh, G.S Ralli, Nasib Singh, Rakesh Chibber, Satish Kumar, Hardeep Singh, Tirath Singh, Sukhvinder Singh, Hakumat Singh, Surinder Kumar Dutta, Kuldeep Sudan, Harbans Singh and Vikram Singh shall be the executive members. Earlier, in the meeting, Rattan Singh informed that the society shall take several initiates for the welfare of people by educating people about educational status and recruitment policies, holding of medical camps, scholarship for meritorious student, imparting education to women, anti-drugs awareness programme, etc.
