Sports Reporter JAMMU: Evershine Cricket Club on Tuesday made it a nine wickets win against Singh Cricket Club (SSC) Akhnoor to advance in the ongoing Veteran Twenty20 Tournament organised by Parade Sports Association in collaboration with Lakshmi Cricket Club to pay tributes to the Indian Armed forces at Parade Ground, here. Batting first after winning the toss, Singh Club was bowled out for 92 runs in 19.3 overs with Maiditta being top scorer, who contributed 35 runs. For Evernshine, Ravi took three wickets while Narinder Singh and Deep Singh claimed two each. In reply, Evershine made 93 runs in just 8.4 overs for one wicket, courtesy brilliant unbeaten innings of 58 runs from Narinder. Balbir Singh contributed 24 runs. Later, Narinder was named Man of the Match for his all round performance. Today’s match was officiated by the technical panel including Dayal Singh and Abhishek as Umpires while Jannu was Scorer. FIXTURE: Challenger Cricket Club shall take on Vampire Club at 8:30 AM tomorrow.
