STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: MGNREGA Employees Association, Udhampur have appalled LG G.C Murmu to redress their issues. Vice-President MGNREGA Employees Association Udhampur Pritam Singh urged the Govt. of J&K UT to resolve the long pending demand of regularisation of employees against the vacant posts lying in Rural Development Department. The employees working under MGNREGA are still waiting for their regularization and are working without job security and other incentives for last 14 years. He said that highly educated youth are working in MGNREGA with full dedication since 2005 and still are waiting for justice. Department of Rural Development framed proposal in 2018 to address the long pending demands of MGNREGA employees. Unfortunately the final approval is still gathering dust in civil secretariat. He has appealed to LG to redress their grievances.
